Praise for Laundromat:

” With Laundromat, Duncan does more than tell stories. She brings listeners into them. Whether it’s the stress of working late hours, the pain of relationships that fade away, or the unsung triumphs of telling yourself to keep going, this EP establishes her as a voice for people who clock in and dream big. ” – Earmilk

BIO:

Nashville-based musician Ray Duncan knows a thing or two about paying dues. Born in Cambria, California, she’s been crafting her musical path since age 13, when she played her first shows in her coastal hometown. By 16, she was already gaining experience performing with Ranchers for Peace, a duo formed with her father, songwriter Charles Duncan. Now, with her latest EP Laundromat, Duncan delivers her most fully realized work to date, a collection that transforms years of working-class frustration into pure rock and roll catharsis.

Praise for “Break my heart”

“Duncan has a both a young-sounding and lived-in voice, with some of the interesting grit of Phoebe Snow, the lyricism of Angel Olsen and the authenticity of Gillian Welch”
